E-REGATTA 2021 AT THE VENICE BOAT SHOW
4 BOATS OUT OF 21 ARE POWERED BY ARCHIMEDE ENERGIA LITHIUM ACCUMULATORS
The E-Regatta is a one-of-a-kind event that aims to promote electric navigation on several fronts. Three intense days, from 2 to 4 June, within the setting of the Venice Arsenale on the occasion of the Boat Show, the E-Regatta is an opportunity to give space to innovation and sustainability by promoting the ecological transition of petrol/diesel engines to those with electric and hybrid propulsion.
There are 21 boats that competed in this edition of the E-Regatta in Venice, Archimede is proud to have been part of this event by mounting its lithium batteries on 4 hybrid boats that participated in the race, including the boat E ‘Dyn 1120, winner of the E-Regatta for the Hybrid category.
There were many tests to win the E-Regatta: the duration and autonomy test of the boats, the timed slalom, the sprint test and the maneuverability test in a confined space.
